Job Opportunities

Theatre Bay Area, one of the largest regional performing arts service organizations in the nation, is restructuring its marketing team to comprise of two (2) new full-time, salaried Marketing Manager positions with benefits: one with a focus on communications and marketing TBA’s programs; and the other focusing on advertising and audience development. Both positions will operate as a team to promote and market Theatre Bay Area, will work closely on a new branding campaign with a local consultant, and will report to the organization’s Managing Director.

Join a Professional Advisory Committee

As an arts service organization, Theatre Bay Area strives to be responsive to issues and needs within our community and our field. To facilitate this, we convene two advisory committees: the Individual Services Committee (ISC) and the Theatre Services Committee (TSC).

Individual Services Committee (ISC):
The mission of the ISC is to advise Theatre Bay Area on the artistic needs and professional interests of individual members. The ISC meets regularly (approximately once per month), supports the work of the program director, and promotes Theatre Bay Area services to individual artists and the field at large. Read more

Theatre Services Committee (TSC):
The mission of the TSC is to advise Theatre Bay Area on the artistic needs and professional interests of the Bay Area theatre community at the company level. Committee members, each representing a TBA member company, meet on a monthly basis to discuss current issues and formulate action plans. Major projects include helping plan our Annual Conference and General Auditions. Read more.

Attend Regional Company Meetings

Another way we connect with the community and field is through our regional company meetings. We hold regular regional meetings in the South Bay/Peninsula every other month.

Volunteer With Us

Theatre Bay Area, one of the largest regional theatre service organizations in North America, seeks volunteers on an ongoing basis to assist with event preparation and general office tasks. Want to help us serve the theatre community? Email us with your interests, skills and availability!
